My name is Andrés Tejedor Estupiñán. I am a systems engineer and student specializing in computer projects, with degrees from the Francisco José de Caldas District University. Having completed my studies at a public university, I received an education in application development with free programming languages, such as C and Java. These opened up doors for me in a very competitive market.

Early in my career, I joined a company whose ERP was Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. There, I became familiar with the ERPs and Microsoft, and I acquired development knowledge. I then joined a migration project for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. However, this experience served only to highlight how difficult it is to acquire development knowledge without having the corresponding documentation or the support of people who, at that time, had more experience at a technical level but did not share their knowledge with me. As a result, I could not advance in my learning and responsibilities. I left that company with more disappointments than achievements.

I continued my working life in companies focused on the administration of tolls and in firms tied to banking, where I developed knowledge and tools for free software. A little over two years ago I decided to break the paradigm of my work practice to date and started looking for an opportunity again with Microsoft Dynamics AX. It was AlfaPeople who offered it to me.

At AlfaPeople, I was incorporated as a development engineer to address the needs of the support area. This experience gave me in-depth knowledge of several functionalities and modules of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, as well as the chance to maintain constant communication with customers, with the intention of offering a solution to the incidents they reported, providing the highest levels of reliability and quality.

Product development was my next step. I started working mainly in the development of the Colombian Payroll module, which has required my complete dedication. The process has taught me a lot and gave me a previously unimaginable sense of growth in my profession. I was also in charge of redesigning and restructuring the Bank reconciliation product, developing of the Generation of plain files product and supporting other AlfaPeople offerings.

At AlfaPeople, I have enjoyed the support of all my colleagues, superiors and the organization in general. I have also received training and applied to certification exams, which has allowed me to expand my knowledge and strengthen my work experience. The human factor at AlfaPeople has also been a fundamental part of my experience, in aspects such as health, well-being, and recreation; which has made me feel empowered and given me a sense of belonging to the organization. Besides my role as a development engineer, I also contribute my knowledge and experience as an emergency care and support officer.

Today, when I look back, I see that my experience at AlfaPeople set me on the right path forward. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to achieve personal and professional growth as part of this family.
