Dynamics 365 is ready to Work in Chile Thanks to AlfaPeople’s Localization

This powerful tool is now available in Chile and AlfaPeople Chile is the first company in Latin America to have their development for Dynamics 365 certified by Microsoft.

Since 2016, a specialized AlfaPeople team – in conjunction with Microsoft – has been working on adapting Microsoft Dynamics 365’s attributes (the company’s latest generation ERP) in order to adjust the program to Chile’s current practices, legislation and fiscal requirements and comply with the regulations enforced by the Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII, Internal Revenue Service).

Their work is finally done. This is the first localization in Latin America to be certified by Microsoft and only the fourth ever in the world. Previously, this had only been achieved by partners in Italy, Portugal, and Vietnam, now adding Chile to that exclusive group.

According to Felipe de Vidts, CEO of AlfaPeople Chile, the localization software has great market penetration potential, especially considering that in upcoming years 100% of companies that use Dynamics AX (a NON-cloud version prior to Microsoft Dynamics 365) will have to migrate to the cloud and require a localization that meets Microsoft certification requirements, making them potential clients for the company.

This technology includes functions that not only provide fiscal assistance but also support day-to-day company operations, such as bank reconciliation, payroll, and imports, all in compliance with SII regulations, in addition to highly necessary functions like advanced electronic invoicing, among others.

Regional Potential

Although Dynamics 365 is localized in many countries around the world, it is being implemented by AlfaPeople in several Latin American nations, and the company’s objectives are not limited to Chile, they have a more regional approach. For precisely this reason, they will continue working together with Microsoft to develop localizations for Colombia, Peru, and Costa Rica.

“Developing a software as complex as this one is a source of pride for us and it drives us to continue growing thanks to the experience we’ve accrued. We have to find a way to certify the other 15 countries where our company has operations”, says Felipe De Vidts.

At AlfaPeople, evolution and adaptation are constant. Before, they had localizations for the Dynamics AX version, but now they have evolved to adapt to Dynamics 365, quickly receiving their certification.
