As a Senior Logistics F&O Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their business processes and deliver high-quality implementations, ensuring that Dynamics meets their requirements through standard functionalities or customizations. You will validate deliverables, and ensure continuous improvement aligned with industry best practices and the Deming cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act).
We are now seeking a Senior SCM Consultant to strengthen our AlfaPeople DACH team in either Germany or Switzerland.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP/CRM projects, preferably with Dynamics 365.
- Desirable: Specialization or Master’s degree related to your profession.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications in Finance, Logistics, and Production (minimum penultimate version).
- Experience in configuration and implementation of:
- Master Planning
- Project Management & Accounting
- Service Management
- Asset Management (Maintenance) & Fixed Assets
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Landed Cost (Imports)
- Sales & Marketing
- Customer Management
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Production Control
- General Ledger & Financial Reporting (Management Reporter)
- Power BI
- Initiative, dynamic personality with a high degree of solution and customer orientation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work nationally and internationally.
- Fluent English & German – speech and written – required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement Dynamics 365 solutions for logistics and supply chain processes.
- Work with clients to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure successful implementations following best practices.
- Guide design, configuration, and testing activities.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of AlfaPeople and client organizations.
- Validate deliverables and ensure implementation quality.
- Support scope management, risk evaluation, and mitigation planning.
- Estimate change requests and support pre-sales activities.
- Proactively contribute to company growth by identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with standards and apply effective actions for continuous improvement.
