Tim Rowe Joins AlfaPeople as Delivery Director

AlfaPeople is excited to announce the appointment of Tim Rowe, Delivery Director of AlfaPeople UK. Tim will help drive the growth of AlfaPeople UK, through the delivery of process-led and outcome-focused engagement, which support customers on their digital transformation journey.

Supported by an effective managed service capability, Tim will enable our customers to continuously evolve their business platforms. By working with Tim, customers will be able to take advantage of new technologies, like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Provance ITSM solution, to improve their processes and operations – thus, addressing future business problems and challenges.

With over 20-years’ experience in the IT and Business Application industry, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to the AlfaPeople team. Tim has led the design and implementation of business applications with national and multi-national organizations across a diverse range of industries from financial services to housing, public sector, legal, utilities, oil & gas and field service businesses.

During his time working at Microsoft, Tim drove the delivery of high-value consulting engagements for both large UK PLCs and global system integrations, to ensure they maximized their investment in Microsoft technology. In this role, Tim also led some of the largest Microsoft Dynamics implementations for customers.

Now working for the AlfaPeople UK team, Tim is ready and eager to apply his expertise to the business needs of our customers.

We asked Tim how he will deliver the best possible outcomes to AlfaPeople customers. He responded,

“Our delivery approach (AIM) starts with understanding the business processes. Customers don’t really care about the underlying technology, rather they need a collection of processes to deliver a service. Accordingly, we have defined best practice processes, with supporting templates and tools. This fast-tracks solution design and helps our consultants drive customers towards industry best practice in a manner that is supported by the underlying platform. The latter point is important. Since Microsoft provides new capabilities every quarter, our approach will ensure customers take advantage of those capabilities at a cadence far quicker than previously possible.

To further support our clients, we are investing heavily in digital transformation and data analytic capabilities. This will ensure throughout our engagement, we help our customers identify and deploy new ways of working, taking advantage of cloud powered capabilities such as IoT, Machine Learning and Big Data.

Lastly, we will increase our managed service capability to better support our increasing global businesses and allow them ride the wave of innovation from Microsoft.”

On what he feels sets AlfaPeople apart, Tim states,

“At AlfaPeople we’re working to become the most trusted supplier of Microsoft Online Services. Our solutions are value-based, delivered through a best-in-class implementation approach. Moreover, our consultants are so much more than product experts. They’re champions of thought leadership in both their specialist areas and digital transformation. They also work closely with Microsoft to ensure customer implementations take the future product direction into account.

Being one of the largest global Dynamics partners ensures we can deliver and support global business applications as we continue to invest in developing delivery and managed support methodologies appropriate for the technology as opposed to applying a generic framework.”

Regarding the new addition to the team Philip Rawlinson, Managing Director states,

“Tim will be an asset to AlfaPeople UK. Since starting, he has already inspired the team, offered his specialist insight and shared his ambition to be the best. Tim’s knowledge of the industry and best practice is phenomenal. He brings a great energy to AlfaPeople and will offer excellent outcomes to our processes and customer solutions – to further improve the how we provide Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Provance ITSM to our customers.”
