What was the status of the company before validating the implementation of Dynamics AX?

We were using several programs to carry out and control the operation of the company. This implied reprocessing, since we had to enter the same information in two different programs. In addition, we had to carry out migrations from one program to another. This forced us to spend more time processing information and possible inconsistencies from one program to another.

What were your goals by implementing Dynamics AX?

With the implementation of Dynamics AX, the company’s information was unified into a single Information System, which minimized the impact on the possible differences or inconsistencies. In addition, specific developments were made in the core business to have reliable information and Improve response times to our internal and external customers. Production and Budget Management modules were implemented to contribute to get optimal and precise information management, required to carry out traceability and follow-up of the company’s processes.

Within the specific objectives we can list the following:

  • • Management and costs control.
  • • Management and budget control.
  • • Automation.
  • • Management and control of purchasing.
  • • Implementation of IFRS.

What were the needs of the company?

Have a robust information system to allow scalability and flexibility, along with management and operation control from each process without losing interaction and traceability, but at the same time without making the operations follow up more complicated.

What are the solution functionalities in relation to the needs?

The implemented functionalities are:

In addition to the modules in the standard functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX, we made customizations in some modules such as Direct Sales and Transportation, to which we added Danny’s own options to offer great benefits to his users, centralized information and Online status reports.

How has the implementation affected the company in the short and long term?

Short-term implementation has resulted in reliable and accurate information for decision-making processes, and we hope in the long term to continue developing options to allow us every day to carry out optimum and automatic processes to be translated into Improvements and satisfaction to our customers.

What benefits have the solution provided to your company?

Adaptability to business CORE, structured management, unification of information, time and reprocessing reduction. As a robust information system, we have been able to integrate with service providers without affecting the internal operations of the company.

After implementation, how has your experience with Dynamics AX been?

Very good. The ERP’s interface is nice, friendly, dynamic and intuitive, easy for customization. By implementing Dynamics AX, we have been able to adjust operations and processes ranging from automation of tasks and processes in batches to developments and customizations that simplify the operation.

What area of your business has been most benefited and why?

One of the processes most benefited by the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX is Financial Accounting. It is vital and fundamental to control and manage costs and expenses with budget tracking at the cost center level, and with the implementation of Dynamics we have reached this level of control and management.

How did you find the Post-Implementation Solution support?

The post-implementation support has met the company’s expectations, our requirements have been effectively and reasonably solved by competent and integral personnel, which allowed the fulfillment of our business objectives.
