Job Description Summary

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end service delivery of customer accounts, representing the company throughout the Diagnostic phase demonstrating a critical partnership with management. Serves as the escalation point for the assigned customers. This role has direct people management responsibility for the delivery of resources and supervises the services delivery of all team members. The Delivery Manager is on point to drive customer satisfaction, services revenue growth & profitability, reviewing and approving Services Delivery Plans for our customers. Must have Dynamics Channel Experience

Desired skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business or technology related BA/BS or job equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience required
  • Experience in managing large scale ERP projects
  • People management skills, including an understanding of how to attract, develop and retain talented individuals and experience in identifying and implementing training & development plans
  • Extensive Customer Account Management experience
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; demonstrated the ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives within a technical and/or new media environment
  • Ability to define and clearly communicate Account strategy & ROI
  • Understanding of markets, customers, and competitive products
  • Ability to translate business requirement into technology solutions and driving these to business value
  • Ability to encourage teamwork and collaboration through effectively managing change
  • Problem solving and escalation management

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Customers Project Profitability, Forecast Accuracy, and Revenue Recognition for consulting and premier contracts, and other financial and business metrics, as well as data accuracy
  • Drive operational excellence and innovation through delivering best practices leveraging the company’s Services Business Capabilities
  • Manage project standards – documentation, risk/dependency management, budget tracking, reporting, and governance
  • Manage the requirements for future projects, efficiently scheduling available resources to develop world-class products and services.
  • Manage effective and timely reporting on in progress and forthcoming projects
  • Manage customers risks and dependencies
  • Control adherence to business strategy by providing internal management risk assessments
  • Drive successful solution deployments and ensure proper business values while maintaining high customer/partner satisfaction
  • Provide review, oversight, and approval from proposal through delivery
  • Grow the business through mentoring, talent pipeline and development.
  • Coaches and develops direct reports, conducts regular connect meetings and holds annual performance reviews with direct reports
  • Ability to build, manage and sustain strong relationships with consultants, clients, and partners
  • Work closely together with Sales to plan and assist with Marketing and Sales initiatives
  • Oversee the maintenance of best practice internal procedures
  • Up to 50% travel may be required. The rest of the work will be remote
