Former Microsoft UK leader takes the helm at AlfaPeople UK

Philip Rawlinson, one of the leading figures at Microsoft UK for the last decade, has been appointed Managing Director of AlfaPeople UK.

With a proven track record in consulting and implementing CRM and ERP, Philip joins AlfaPeople after spending ten years as Microsoft’s UK Microsoft Dynamics healthcare and education lead.

During this time, Philip delivered record sales performances, which saw him being awarded the prestigious Circle of Excellence, a title that put him within the top 5% of sellers globally. Philip also created a Patient Relationship Management proposition that was awarded Microsoft’s Gold Award for outstanding performance for two years running.

Going forward, Philip’s focus will be on delivering his vision – for AlfaPeople UK to become the UK’s most trusted supplier of Microsoft Online services

It’s a vision that involves providing value-based solutions that utilise best-in-class deployment techniques and are implemented by specialists, who are more than just product experts, but digital transformation leaders.

“AlfaPeople have been a leading Microsoft Dynamics Solution provider for more than ten years and it’s a status I want to ensure we continue to build upon by investing in our people to become leaders in their discipline, not just products,” said Philip.

“Being able to consult in disciplines, such as digital transformation and value engineering, is pivotal to ensuring we deliver on transformation, have the right levels of governance and best practices in place and create value for our customers”.

“During my time at Microsoft I saw first-hand, just how many organisations don’t have assured processes to effectively manage on-going industry changes, which ultimately leads to a reduced customer experience.”

Organisations now face the challenge of operating in a world of disruption and transformation underpinned by technology.

Philip added: “The pace and scale of change in terms of the new availability of Microsoft Online services and the requirement to ensure you’re competent to educate your customers on how these new features can transform their business is rapid. It’s no longer enough to be able to just consult in CRM, we must be competent right across the Microsoft Cloud, including Dynamics 365, Azure and Office 365″.

“Businesses that embrace this disruptive new world, which I envisage will also see new workloads being created to embrace the likes of Dynamics 365, IoT and Power Apps, will undoubtedly outperform the rest. As a leader within our field, the entire UK team is truly committed to growing the business together, adapting to the changes being created within our rapidly-evolving industry and making informed decisions that benefit our customers and prospects.”
