Glattbrugg, 25. August 2016 – The employees of CP Pumpen AG in Switzerland and Germany are working with a new, modern ERP environment. This has been implemented by AlfaPeople AG and it is based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. CP Pumpen AG has thus improved the efficiency of their resource management.

CP Pumpen AG, with head office in Zofingen, manufactures centrifugal pumps for the chemical, pharma, biotechnology, food, drinks, cellulose and paper industry. With its new ERP environment implemented by AlfaPeople, CP Pumpen AG could improve the efficiency of the administrative processes. Originally, various individual systems were in use for salary and financial accounting as well as for document management. This is however drawing their lifecycle to a close or had partly crossed this already.

AlfaPeople has therefore been appointed to modernise the Enterprise Ressource Planning environment so that CP Pumpen AG could optimise and efficiently design all core processes concerning sales, delivery, maintenance and reporting. For this purpose, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 has been implemented in combination with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 within just 18 months for the 60 users of CP Pumpen AG.

Besides, functionalities such as product lifecycle management, time recording and document management, which were missing so far, have been integrated. Hence, the use of Excel could be reduced. Additionally, CP Pumpen is profiting from extensive reporting options and a better overview of their costs. Hence, the resource management in the entire company has been simplified and the management gets additional control options. The Return on Invest (ROI) is expected at the end of 2018.

Simon Bolliger, CFO of CP Pumpen AG and project leader is convinced of the new ERP solution: “Through the use of Dynamics AX and CRM, we now have a sustainable solution, which allows us long-term implementation of our company strategy. We can now filter out essential information for us in a better way and make proactive decisions”.
