As the new CEO and together with an experienced team of Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialists, Steiner is planning a growth strategy over the next few years and aligning with Microsoft’s Cloud strategy.
Dominik Steiner (44) has an Executive Master’s in Business Information Technology from HSW Luzern. Before working at AlfaPeople, he held management positions at Cognizant, Procad GmbH & Co. KG, Avanade, and Avaloq. He is succeeding Hugo B Kälin, who has decided to take a sabbatical.
AlfaPeople is currently a market leader in implementing the pioneering Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and already boasts several successfully completed projects. Steiner sees great opportunities in Cloud software solutions, especially for small to medium-sized enterprises. Alongside mature CRM processes, Microsoft Dynamics 365 also has integrated ERP processes in its portfolio, complemented by forward-looking Azure options such as Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics.
“Generally, this kind of sustainable solution can be efficiently implemented in many industries. In all these solutions, our clients’ end customers are front and center,” says Steiner.
As examples, he names intelligent customer service solutions, self-learning and automated field service solutions and automated process landscapes in purchasing as well as sales.
“Wherever standardized processes are repeated regularly, automation is possible. Wherever there are databases or knowledge in data, self-learning algorithms can be used for optimization,” explains Steiner. “As a traditional Microsoft ERP and CRM partner, we are actively and rapidly moving towards a highly modern future and can help our customers to “produce” their daily actions, services, and products in an even more customer-specific way to ensure further financially successful growth on the Swiss market. I may not be a digital native, but digitization and the chance it creates to come up with solutions that are completely brand new fascinates me!”
With digitization, the AlfaPeople Group is implementing its global growth strategy and planning further offices in South America and Asia over the next two years. Today, AlfaPeople is present in 16 countries and mostly serves customers that require international 24/7 support in the operation of CRM and ERP landscapes.
