The Power Platform Essentials workshop will get you started with Power Apps and Power Automate.
In the Power Platform Essentials workshop you will be introduced to Power Apps and Power Automate working hands-on building your first app. Furthermore, you will also hands-on be focusing on how to automize and digitize your workflows.
Day 1
- Introduction to Power Apps
Learn the differences between Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps, as well as what a Connector is. - Introduction to Dataverse
Learn how work with the Dataverse, adding tables and fields, and how to integrate with e.g. Excel. - Introduction to PowerApps Studio
Getting to know the tool, key objects, and features. - Build your first app
Setting up screens, forms, lists and layout. Working with tables, records, data cards, variables and controls.
Day 2
- Adding to your app
How to add a chart, add multimedia, find accessibility issues, change the size and orientation of the screen, save and publish an app, and delete an app. - Introduction to DevOps
Working with versioning of apps, solutions, analytics tool, publish application, and share application. - Introduction to environments
What are environments and creating a new one. - Introduction to Power Automate
What is Power Automate? Lean triggers, approvals, push, and notifications.

1 week before the workshop, you will receive an invitation for a Teams call and Teams Channel. All training material will be uploaded to the Teams Channel.
