AlfaPeople is the first partner with operations in Chile to enter the Microsoft Power Apps directory. This is a major achievement in our consolidation as a tech consultancy firm as we continue to excel along the Microsoft roadmap.

“At Microsoft we have a global “Power Apps Partner Program” specifically focused on delivering App In A Day workshops, from partners to customers, such as evangelization plays, demand generation, and of course joint sales of solutions and Power Platform projects. Recognizing the technical and commercial capabilities available in Power Apps, we consider that participation in the program is crucial for AlfaPeople and for its Chile subsidiary,” said Ricardo Mejía, Microsoft Partner Technical Architect (PTA), who, together with Julia Lacouture, Power Apps & Automate Partner Success Manager, has accompanied AlfaPeople in this process.

Microsoft estimates that over 500 million applications will be developed globally in the next 5 years. To meet the demand for app creation tools, Microsoft is putting in the power and creativity in the hands of everyday citizens and end-users of all skill levels to develop applications autonomously using Power Apps.

What is Power Apps?

Power Apps is Microsoft’s “democratizing” tool for the creation and customization of applications for your business needs. Democratizing? Power Apps requires little to no code for app design.

The tool is part of the Microsoft Power Platform, a modular platform built on a common data model that consists of Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and now Power Virtual Agents. Operating individually or in unison, Power Platform draws even more value from your company’s data thanks to its seamless integration with the Dynamics 365 platform.

For Francisco Parraguez, Power Platform manager at AlfaPeople Chile, the path is clear:

“We continue working toward becoming Latin America’s top Power Apps partner and to support the digital transformation processes of our current and new customers.”
